Dr Joseph Nyamori

Dr. Joseph Maina Nyamori is a Senior Consultant Ophthalmologist and surgeon at Eagle Eye Laser Center. He is a Board Certified and fellowship-trained Retina and Cataract Surgeon with over 14 years of ophthalmic experience. He obtained his Fellowship training in Phacoemulsification surgery at the LV Prasad eye institute India and subsequently Vitreoretinal Fellowship at the University of Calgary,Canada.

Dr.Nyamori is widely experienced in medical management of diseases of the retina, such as Diabetic Eye Disease, Age-related macular degeneration,Retinal vessel disease and intraocular infections.He is skilled in vitreo-retina conditions such as retinal detachment, macular holes, epiretinal membranes, diabetic retinopathy. He is also expert in cataract surgery and performs routine as well as complex cataract surgery and is adept at phaco-refractive surgery.

His professional service also includes a Senior Lecturer role, at the department of ophthalmology, University on Nairobi
