Dr. Millicent Bore is a board-certified ophthalmologist and fellowship trained cornea and Anterior Segment specialist with over 10 years of ophthalmic experience.
Her Clinical practice, medical as well as surgical expands from general ophthalmology, towards specialized treatments of the anterior eye, including Keratoconus management, corneal transplant surgery, pterygium treatment, corneal dystrophies, Dry eye Syndrome and Infection related eye diseases of the anterior segment.
As regards to her ophthalmic care training, she holds a Master of Medicine in Ophthalmology from the University of Nairobi and additionally, phacoemulsification training and fellowship in Cornea and Anterior segment at the LV Prasad Eye Institute in India.
Dr. Bore serves at Eagle Eye Laser center as Cornea and Anterior segment specialist and enjoys a teaching role as Lecturer, at the department of Ophthalmology, University of Nairobi
She is a Fellow of the College of Ophthalmology of Eastern, Central and Southern Africa (COECSA) and similarly holds membership with the Allergy Society of Kenya (ASOK) and Anterior Segment Community of Practice (ASCOP-Kenya).
