Computer Vision Syndrome
The prolonged use of digital devices such as computers, tablets, e-readers and cell phones may result in a group of eye and vision-related problems often described as Computer Vision Syndrome (CVS).
Symptoms of CVS include but are not limited to; burning sensation, discomfort, fatigue, strain, feeling like there are particles in the eyes, soreness of the eyes, sensitivity to light, persistent eye redness, watery eyes, head and neck pain, and blurred vision. The Symptoms are caused by glare on the digital screen, dryness of the eyes, poor sitting posture, poor lighting among others.
